College Library

The library of the college has been formally established in 1987 in its permanent campus at Geetanagar. Before that the students were availed with the library facility which was operated temporarily from the office of the college. Ms. Latika Devi, M.A., B.Lib.Sc was the first librarian of the collge. At present the library has been developed with a certain facilities like free internet access, digital upgradation etc. The library has a collection of 10629 books including reference books for various departments. Journals, news papers, magazines, back volume etc. are also available for the use of students. The library automation is going on by using Library Management Software SOUL 2.0. A student is issued two library cards with which she may borrow books from the library for 15 days. The valuable books are not issued to anybody. The students and employee of the college may read books, journals, newspapers etc. in the reading room attached to the library. The library remains open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on all working days.
